Every adventure-seeker knows that Jeep is the go-to brand for getting out of the city and off the beaten path.
While the previous Compass models have all been great vehicles, the engineers at Jeep wanted to step it up for the 2017 model. They started by redesigning the exterior, giving the Compass a modern look that’s still traditionally Jeep. Looks aren’t everything, and a new powertrain improves overall performance for the new model. With upgraded technology options such as the 8.4-inch Uconnect Touchscreen and advanced safety features, the 2017 Jeep Compass is the total package.
While all SUVs seem like they should be designed for backroads, few really stand up those claims. The last thing that anyone wants to do is end up stuck somewhere, just because their vehicle couldn’t keep up. That’s not a problem in the Jeep Compass. It is the only small SUV that is off-road ready, with four-wheel drive and over eight inches of ground clearance. It also has different modes for snow, mud, and sand, so no matter where you prefer to spend your weekends, you’re covered. The Jeep Active Drive and Jeep Active Drive Low systems further set this vehicle apart from the rest of its class.
In August of 2017, the Compass boasted its best month of sales, ever. After being newly launched in India this summer, the factory reportedly received over 10,000 bookings for the vehicle, exceeding expectations and forecasts. Compact crossovers are quickly taking over the U.S. market, and the Jeep Compass is on its way to the top.
