Jeep just Hellcatted a Grand Cherokee and the automotive world is losing their minds.
That’s right, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) took the same 707hp supercharged 6.2L HEMI Hellcat V8 engine found in the Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Viper, and placed it into the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. If that isn’t badass we don’t know what is.
Already known for its exceptional off-roading prowess as a luxury SUV. Thanks to the Trailhawk trim, the new Trackhawk has you track-ready in an unprecedented way. With the ability to reach 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and topping out at 180mph, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is officially the fastest production SUV ever made. Or as Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand, would call it, “The Ultimate Performance SUV.” Equipped with Brembo brakes so powerful it can take you to a grinding halt at 114 ft from 60mph. This baby exudes serious stopping power in addition to all that go go go.
You can also get excited about the refined and techy interior waiting for you inside. Grand Cherokee Trackhawk allows you to sit back in race-inspired seats with side bolsters to grip you with every curve. Indulge in the premium Laguna leather-wrapped interior while you get your thrills in. Features like Apple Carplay and Android Auto keep you perfectly connected to your smartphone of choice, while track pages keep your head in race mode with the ability to time your laps, check your engine temperatures and more.
You can look forward to the supercharged Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque hitting the market in 2018 so you can fulfill your need for speed and luxury lounging at the same time. We honestly can’t wait to get our hands on one, what about you?
